I feel so dumb now. Seriously.. It's like the world is empty of what adds colour to it, what brightens it and what helps fans/geeks/nerds to continue to tolerate the insensitivity of non-fans. Gosh.. I need Science Fiction. NOW. It's 1am.
I'm weird. The television channels in my country decided not to air the next episode of V this coming Thursday. I feel aimless.. nothing left.. I need SF now..
Star Wars: The Clone Wars 2 ended last week. The world has lost its colour of imagination and wonder and joy..
Some one accidentally (is that so?) crumpled my Star Trek book list on my Science Fiction book cupboard. I noticed it today. This act of vanderlism is inhuman. (Now that I think about it.. I think my mum did it. 0.O)
My piggy bank is almost empty.. I need cash to buy Star Wars novels.
My dad does not want to subscribe to the Sci-Fi Channel for me. He said, "...might get addicted.. TV bill will increase... bad.. need to do homework.. revision.. cannot... Star Wars is more than enough.. too much V..." I understand him even though I'm slightly annoyed. Sigh..
My dad uses the TV whenever he is home and when he isn't home, I'm either not home too or taking a much-needed nap. I need the TV which is linked to the DVD player to watch Babylon 5. The world seems to have not enough room for fans.
People have a lack of understanding for us Fans.
It is either a fact or an opinion. You decide.
As for me, it is merely my opinion. And.. I think that the television and DVD player is trying to tell me that I need to study and do well for my end of year exams. Only then will I get my reward: Science Fiction.
I hope this post at 1am in the morning had helped in some way or other. Tackle your problems (I'm refering to everyone, not just SF fans). It's not as easy as it sounds but.. Tomorrow onwards (I need to sleep because I've got school the next day) I will revise as much as I can and the best that I can for EOY exams!! I will do my best and Science Fiction will return to my side!
All Science Fiction lovers: Although sometimes shadowed by darkness, the lightside of the Force is always there!
