Hey all! It's getting quite late over here. 12.20am right now! And nope, I'm not sleepy yet and my mum's studying to earn a diploma in my bedroom so even if I want to go to bed, I doubt I'll be able to sleep cos of the light.
Well.. Things have been more or less the usual normal-ness at my place and school. Jordon, Joshua and I hang out together everyday. I keep forgetting to telephone Lavi for late night chats (sorries!!) and my birthdays round the corner!
My birthday! Just mumbling the words makes me soooo happy! Ya know why?? Cos I'll get presents (hopefully Sci-Fi!!!)
To Christy: Aaaaaaaaaah! I spelt your name wrong! Apologies there! ^^ Hey, you don'y really have to buy me a Star Wars book as a birthday present. It's really expensive in my opinion. Maybe because it takes me 2.5 weeks to save enough money to buy one! Happy Birthday to you too! So glad to meet another Virgo (besides my dad)! See you in school on Mon!
I wonder what my brother (see picture below!!) will buy for my birthday.. Hmmm.. For all I know, he either forgets my birthday (or claims to have forgotten) or gives me a weird, uh.. strange.. cheap and trash-like present. Example, (I think it was last year) I got something which was his trash. Seriously!! And I actually bought him Star Wars: Order 66 for his birthday! Harh! But now I will read it when I like cos Alfie doesn't like Star Wars any more. *sheds a tear.. sniff*
Now, He's gone nuts with football! Word... Look at him..
See that!!!! His eyes are fixed on the Tv!! And every friday 7.20pm to 9.30pm! And cos of that I had to miss a Ben 10 movie!!! Nooooooooooooo! (Ben 10 is one of my favourite cartoons too.) And you see those legs in the corner?? That's my mum.. sitting there, frowning. Yeahhh.. I soooo agree with her. And he's flattening my dad's pillows (something my dad doesn't like). =,="
Enough with the football induced ADHD (I think that's what my mother called Alfie sometimes).
Ya know, my comic!!! Not the one I've been drawing since last year but the one I drew in three weeks during the June Holidays? If you can't remember, that's ok.. But this was the 2nd competition I took part in... And I won!!!!!! Yay me!
Not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize though. It's the Merit Award along with 9 other people. I'm just happy to have won something. It's ok to not get the 1st anyway!! I'll show you my prize!!

It's a sketch book! My mum says that they want me to continue drawing that's why they gave me a sketch book. Well, even if they didn't, I would still continue drawing! I wanna be a comic artist, any way! =)
This is all the stuff I received (picture taken before I unwrapped the sketch book).
Recently, my class chairman and vice chairman wanted me to help draw my class' two form teachers. So I agreed. It's a good way for me to gain 1% of fame on Teacher's Day (1 September). The first drawing (in a bit of manga style) is the form teacher who I like (I don't like the second one). I tried to follow her picture in the school photo book the best i can and surprisingly the curls I drew (for her hair) weren't too bad. It's my first time drawing curly hair (yes.. so embarrassing ^0^) Whether the hair is good or not. It's your's to decide! Hope it's good, though!
Here's the other form teacher I don't like. It's a long story so i'll explain it all tomorrow or in the next post if possible (I might not be free or in the mood, ya see). In my opinion, her drawing was much easier to draw. Maybe because it's too simple?? I kept it simple cos in fact, she just joined my school sometime this year so I do not have any pictures of her. And that's why I had to draw from memory. Challenging, isn't it! That's one of the reasons why I like drawing my friends, classmates or people I know. See for yourself if it's too simple or bland..
